Following a European Commission, ECHA has started preparing a restriction dossier on the use of formaldehyde and its releasers in articles and in mixtures in concentration <0.1% by consumers.
ECHA has made an entry in the Registry of Intentions (RoI) with an anticipated submission date of 11 January 2019.

The new Compliance Scheme has been in operation for a month, and the first two companies to gain Certified Company status are confirmed as retailers ScS and DFS.
