Workshop: electrically operated recliners, riser recliners and beds

prEN 17684 Furniture - Electrically operated furniture - Stability, strength, durability and mechanical safety requirements is currently out for consultation.
The Research Association are hosting a series of workshops to obtain industry feedback on the draft. Comments will then be fed back to the standards committee to ensure that members voices are represented.
Details of the second workshop are:
- Focus: Electrically operated recliners, riser recliners and beds
- Hosted by: Levent Caglar
- Date: Tuesday 23 August
- Timings: 09.30-15.00
- Location: FIRA International, Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Workshop delegates will be given a copy of the draft to help them understand more and determine the impacts. Delegates can also send product samples in advance, or being these on the day, so that the workshop can be tailored to their needs.
