Standards meeting report – Storage furniture

The International Standards committee tasked with developing standards or storage furniture, ISO TC136 WG3, recently held a workshop in Nuremberg, Germany.
The purpose of the workshop was to resolve a number of issues identified during the drafting of the revised standard ISO 7170 including:
- Carcase and underframe tests
- Drop tests
- Pivoted door tests and drawer tests
The workshop was well attended and produced some interesting points in relation to a number of contentious points.
