Standards meeting report – Non-domestic furniture - Nov -2019

A meeting of CEN TC207 WG5, the European committee tasked with developing European Standards for non-domestic furniture, was recently held in Nuremberg, Germany.
The committee, chaired by FIRA’s Phil Reynolds, started work on amendments to the following standards:
- EN 15372 Furniture. Strength, durability and safety. Requirements for non-domestic tables (to correct some errors in the previous version)
- EN 16121 Non-domestic storage furniture. Requirements for safety, strength, durability and stability (to add office storage furniture to the standard)
As yet, a timescale for publication of these changes has not been set.
