Standards meeting report - non-domestic furniture - Mar - 2020

An online meeting of CEN TC207 WG5, the standards committee responsible for developing standards for non-domestic furniture, was recently held. Originally intended to be a face-to-face meeting in Paris, it was converted to an online meeting due to travel restrictions.
The meeting had a reduced agenda and focused:
- Rules for running video conferencing
- Suggested priority standards for development within CEN TC207 during the current pandemic
- The proposed revision of EN 16121 – Requirements for non-domestic storage furniture – to include requirements for office storage
- The proposed revision of EN 15372 – Requirements for non-domestic tables
No major decisions were made regarding the proposed revisions, however, Members of the Furniture Industry Research Association can read a full meeting report below.
