Standards Meeting Report - hardware for furniture

A meeting of CEN TC 207 WG8, the committee responsible for drafting standards for furniture hardware, was recently held at the headquarters of hardware manufacturer, Indaux, in Getaria Spain.
Whilst the UK does not have many hardware manufacturers key documents discussed were:
- A new draft standard for corrosion performance of hardware
- A new draft standard for star bases for swivelling chairs
These documents are aimed at the manufacturers of hardware, they will have an impact manufacturers of final product.
