Research Association members respond to Government Flammability Regulations Consultation

In response to the Government Consultation regarding the proposed changes to the UK flammability regulations for domestic upholstered furniture, The Research Association held a series of Flammability Regulation Consultation Forums exclusively for its members.
The forums, which were attended by furniture manufacturers, component manufacturers and retailers, worked through the 19 questions raised in the consultation and a collective response to Government has been prepared which is available for members to view below.
Members who attended the forums also raised some questions which FIRA submitted separately to the Office of Product Standards and Safety (OPSS) for comment. Members can view the question and response from OPSS here.
