Flammability Checklist for Products Guidance now available for members
A new ‘Flammability Checklist for Products Guidance’ is now available to members of the Furniture Industry Research Association.
This guidance aims to help companies by providing a systematic process for checking that a product has been tested to the correct flammability standard(s) and complies with the UK Flammability Regulations.
Broken down into the following categories, the checklist can be used by selecting the product category, running through the questions, looking at the test reports and studying to make sure that the information matches the requirements:
- Fillings
- Domestic upholstered furniture
- Non-domestic upholstered furniture
- Domestic mattresses, divans and bed bases
- Non-domestic mattresses, divans and bed bases
The Flammability Checklist for Products Guidance is free for members. Non-members can purchase a copy, priced at £60, by emailing info@fira.co.uk
