European Standards meeting report

A meeting of the European standards committee CEN TC207 WG – Common test methods for furniture, was recently held in Nuremberg.
The committee, chaired by FIRA’s General Manager, Phil Reynolds, met to discuss a rationale for finger entrapment and shear and squeeze points, that it is hoped will be adopted by all European furniture standards committee.
The committee finalised a draft that will be shortly sent for approval.
