The Department Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has published a guidance document for trading in CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) listed species in the event of a no-deal BREXIT.
This guidance outlines how the UK will apply to trade or move endangered animal or plants listed under CITES. It further outlines the process for trading for finished products which contain protected species in the event that the UK leaves the EU without a withdrawal agreement.
