London Borough of Waltham Forest Case Study
Flexiform worked with London Borough of Waltham Forest’s architectural partner to create an agile working and ‘neighbourhood’ working office. The space consisted of a 50/50 split of traditional Pico office bench desks and flexible work tables. Our Pico back-to-back desks were equipped with monitor arms, mesh back task chairs and on-desk electrics to give a dedicated workspace. To enhance collaboration, the office desks were completed with a central infill tube instead of a desk mounted screen.
The use of collaboration tables and light work chairs gives a more flexible workspace where staff can work independently, collaborate and meet, or present. The staff are trialling two collaboration tables; a large solid oak work table with a laminate top, and a split level table with a steel and fabric frame and adjustable task lighting.
