Flexiform install furniture in Michael Laid Architects office in Edinburgh

Michael Laird Architects (MLA), a prestigious architectural practice with offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, selected Flexiform for their 4-floor Edinburgh hub refurbishment after we supplied a series of demonstration products to be tried and tested by their staff.

MLA designed the office interior using their own in-house design team, selecting Flexiform products to support their new workspace. Our Pico desks were installed throughout all floors in single, back-to-back and side-to-side configurations with black metal framework and contrasting white tops with black edging. We manufactured the desks to a special depth to provide the best use of available space in their ex-townhouse Georgian building.

In addition to the manufacture and installation of office furniture, we removed and environmentally recycled existing furniture prior to installing the new furniture which was conducted over a number of phases. This was a particular challenge due to the building having no lift and the previous desking ranges being very heavy and cumbersome
