Flexiform Face New Challenges When Installing Furniture During Pandemic With These Council Offices
Flexiform has recently completed the full office fit-out and installation of furniture for a Council located in South West England. The Grade II listed Headquarters installation was completed during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, bringing a new set of challenges for both Flexiform’s Manufacturing, Project Management, and Delivery teams, and the client’s in-house teams.
The Flexiform Project Manager was integral to the installation, ensuring that communication between not only our in-house departments and on-site teams but the client teams were continuously informed and everyone was kept safe. The office fit-out includes a wide range of Flexiform products, including Additions 2 tables, Pico desks, booths, and stools.
“The Flexiform delivery team collaborated very well to meet our customer needs providing the right balance of expertise to ensure we delivered the fit-out of the completed building to meet our requirements, some of which were a bit of a challenge but Flexiform went the extra mile to deliver what was needed.
During our project with Flexiform, the Covid-19 pandemic broke out and through Flexiform’s regular updates with us, any manufacturing and delivery supplier delays were managed effectively and did not adversely affect our delivery programme. The installation team were efficient and professional and worked well with our on-site Facilities Management team to meet the scheduled delivery and installation programme. Flexiform has certainly delivered for us and we have been impressed with their performance during some challenging months of 2020!”
