This guidance document provides a checklist for the different product types falling under the Furniture & Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended) so companies can systematically follow a process to check if the product has the correct test certification for compliance with these Regulations.

• Domestic Upholstered Furniture – Sofas, Chairs, Sofabeds, Footstools, Headboards, Upholstered Bedsteads etc.
• Non-Domestic Upholstered Furniture
• Domestic Mattresses, Divans and Bed Bases
