Children’s Domestic Furniture Industry Standard: Tables & Desks FIRA/FRQG C003: 2021

This Standard has been produced and endorsed by the Furniture Retail Quality Group (FRQG), consisting of the major furniture retailers in the UK, due to the absence of any British or European Standards applicable to children’s domestic and camping furniture and covers the requirement for strength, stability and durability.

This Standard is applicable to all types of domestic s tables and storage furniture for use by children from 3 years old to 12 years old.

This forms part of a suite of standards covering children’s furniture which also includes:

• FIRA/FRQG C001: 2021 Furniture - Children’s domestic furniture – General safety requirements
• FIRA/FRQG C004: 2016 +A1 2017 Furniture - Children’s domestic furniture – Storage furniture – Requirements for strength, stability and durability

Note: This standard replaces FIRA/FRQG C003: 2016 which has been withdrawn
