European Standards for non-domestic storage furniture come a step closer
At a recent meeting of CEN TC207 WG5, the European committee responsible for developing standards for contract furniture, two new draft standards for storage furniture were finalised.
These draft standards will cover test methods and requirements for all types of non-domestic storage furniture - including hotels, educational institutions and army barracks. These standards will shortly be circulated for public enquiry. If accepted publication is likely to be at least 18 months away.
